Terms and Conditions

The participant or for those it may concern is strongly required to read, understood and accepted the following tour agreement and terms and conditions.

  1. The reservation will be received by KOMPAKH ADVENTURE at least 1 (0ne) month prior the departure date.
  2. The reservation will be put on reservation list of KOMPAKH ADVENTURE tour after client/s transfer booking fee.
  3. For better arrangement in the request by email should put data as following:
  • Name, age, gender and number of participants
  • Room/s required
  • Nationality
  • Contact person’s address
  • Date of arrival in Putussibau
  • Requested travel package

Travel fare includes accommodation, transportation during the program, meals during the travel as specified in the tour brochure/itinerary and entrance fee. Travel fare excludes transfer in and out except on an agreement, airport taxes, visa fees, Camera/video charge in national park, laundry, excess baggage charges, room services, personal expenses and tips to hotel, guide, porters, driver and boatman. The arrangement of domestic flights depends on the requirement of the client/s.

All rates quoted in US Dollar or Rupiah are subject to change without prior notice. Possible price charges will be communicated before a travel package is booked.

All tours will be conducted based on final confirmation to KOMPAKH ADVENTURE and by transferring the at least 30% of travel fare not more than 30 days before departure.

In a force majeure, the tour will use any kind of transportation in Indonesia. KOMPAKH ADVENTURE is not responsible for such air ticket cancellation fees and any consequences due do the delay of the flight/transportation used.

All meals during the tour are Indonesian menu. In the jungle client will drink boiled water from the river.

Participant is deemed to prepare his/her health, any sicknesses suffered by participant during the trip is not responsibility of KOMPAKH ADVENTURE.

Without limitation, KOMPAKH ADVENTURE is not responsible for any injuries, losses or damages to person or property, death, delay, cost, or whatsoever incurred or suffered by the participant that arise from any of the following events:

  • Mechanical breakdown
  • Government actions
  • Natural disaster (Rain, flood, falling tree/branch, wildlife action)
  • Strikes
  • Criminal or terrorist actions of any kind
  • Compulsory quarantine or other circumstances beyond its control
  • Failure of the passenger to obtain required documentation (e.g. health certificates, visas, passports, etc) Failure of the passenger to follow reasonable instructions including but not limited to check-in and check-out places and times.

No refund will be made with respect to accommodation, meals, tours or any other services included in the travel fare but not utilized by the participant, either in part or full, or where the participant amends, cancels or otherwise varies arrangements after commencement of the tour.

A client who is below the age of 17 years, when booking is required to present written consent from a parent or guardian. A client who is below the age of 13 years and above 70 years when departing on a travel may be required to be accompanied on the travel by a caretaker, be escorted by a caretaker until departure, or be met at the airport by a responsible party upon arrival, depending upon the circumstances.

Anyone to depart on a travel who has a chronic disease, is ill, pregnant, physically handicapped, or otherwise requires special care is requested to state so upon booking. KOMPAKH ADVENTURE arranges for necessary care within reason; however, in some cases a person who will depart on a travel will be requested to present a health certificate issued by a physician.

Also, depending upon local situations and available support from local medical facilities, someone may be accepted to depart on a travel only on condition that he/she is accompanied by a personal caregiver/protector. Aside from the above, KOMPAKH ADVENTURE may decline a booking for business reasons.

All clients are kindly required to follow the local manners and custom rules of the village.

The participants shall remit at least 30% of the travel fare (the balance remaining after the deposit is credited) no later than 14 days prior to departureto following Bank account: BRI Cabang Putussibau – West Kalimantan Indonesia.

Any cancellation must be in writing or in person to KOMPAKH ADVENTURE, not more than 14 days before departure. The cancellation within 12 days will be charged 30%; the cancellation within 7 days will be charged 50% of the total of travel fare.

  • In the city KOMPAKH ADVENTURE will only used maximum 4 stars hotel.
  • In the village, client may stay at a very basic local lodge, community’s house or Longhouse.
  • In the jungle, client will share a traditional-simple plastic tarp tent.

Participant required knowing that in trekking activities, just allowed to bring maximum 30 kgs of baggage. In air transportation, the free baggage allowance from Jakarta to Putussibau for one ticket is 20 kgs. Excess charge is the sole responsibility of participant.

Participant strongly required having his/her own travel insurance.

KOMPAKH ADVENTURE reserves the rights to cancel or withdraw any itinerary or any reservations made for a client or decline or refuse any passenger as a member of the tour, if it appears that such person is likely to endanger the health or safety, or impair the comfort and enjoyment of others on the tour.
